From spreadsheets to a dispatch command center.
A custom dispatch platform replaced five disconnected tools, giving dispatchers, drivers, and customers one shared view of every load.

The challenge
16 weeks to full rollout
Dispatchers ran the business out of spreadsheets, group chats, and three disconnected SaaS tools. Every load was re-entered by hand at least four times, customers called for status updates that nobody could answer confidently, and the only person who truly understood the process was the operations manager — which made growth and vacation equally impossible.
The approach
We spent the first week riding along with the actual workflow: how a load gets quoted, booked, dispatched, tracked, and invoiced. The design came out of that map, not out of a template.
The build was phased so the brokerage got a working system early. Phase one was dispatch and load tracking with a single shared board. Phase two added the customer portal with live status. Phase three automated quoting and customer notifications.
The old tools were kept running in parallel for two weeks while the team verified real loads against real invoices, then shut off one at a time.
